Interpersonal Relationships Discussed in Academic Activity promoted by Veni University

As part of its academic activities, Veni Creator Christian University (VCCU) held a live webinar on Wednesday, February 25th, themed "The Awakening of Consciousness in Professional Relationships" featuring the master's degree holder and consultant/professor, Ilsa Loivamara Andrade.

The event, which took place in the institution's official YouTube page, was opened with remarks from the Dean of International Affairs at Veni University, Dr. Maria Emília Camargo, and included the participation of the Dean of Academic Relations, Dr. Marcela Tarciana, and the host Gabriely Diniz, M.A.

Loivamara, who is also a specialist in Occupational Health Management, highlighted new attitudes and behaviors, namely action, learning, problem-solving, and credibility. "The more I repeat an action, the more I learn; the more I learn from that action, the better I learn how to do it, a more assertive method, and the more effective I am in my actions, the more credibility I have in my work," she exemplified. According to the scholar, the presentation this was a theme developed in her master's thesis and directed towards the organizational context. Furthermore, she demonstrated the concept of conflict, its types, structural elements, and offered a reflection.

"Conflict is an inherent phenomenon and will always exist in human relationships, arising from divergent interests, incompatible values, scarcity of resources, and different perceptions." Ilsa Andrade also delivered a provocative presentation by questioning whether 'Organizational Conflict originates from Interpersonal Conflict' or if each individual carries it within their emotions. She continued the event with concepts of Freud, explaining that the brain is divided into the unconscious, conscious, and subconscious.

The conscious part is what we do consciously without needing to be told; the subconscious is the memory archive, where we retrieve information that has been stored; and the unconscious is what is subtle, what we don't automatically remember, where values, beliefs, feelings, and traumas reside.

Several other approaches were explained and can be viewed in the live stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrVZ2mCR6Tk
