Undergraduate Program Requirements

To be admitted to undergraduate programs at VCCU, applicants must provide:

  • Proof of High School Graduation or Equivalent - Official high school diploma, GED certificate, or recognized equivalent documentation
  • Official Transcripts—Complete academic records from all previously attended institutions
  • Proof of Identity—Valid government-issued photo identification
  • Application Form - Completed admission application with accurate personal information
  • Statement of Faith—A brief personal testimony describing your Christian faith journey and commitment
  • Character Reference—Letter of recommendation from a pastor, ministry leader, or Christian character reference
  • Application Fee—Non-refundable processing fee of $50

Graduate Program Requirements

For admission to master's and doctoral programs, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher - Official degree certificate from an accredited or recognized institution
  • Official Transcripts—Complete academic records from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • Proof of Identity—Valid government-issued photo identification
  • Professional Resume/CV—Detailed work experience and professional accomplishments
  • Statement of Purpose—A written essay explaining your career goals, ministry calling, and reasons for pursuing graduate education at VCCU
  • Letters of Recommendation—Two professional or academic references (one must be from a Christian leader or ministry context)
  • English Proficiency—For non-native English speakers, proof of English language proficiency through TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent testing
  • Application Fee—Non-refundable processing fee of $75

International Student Requirements

International applicants must additionally provide:

  • Valid Passport—Copy of current passport identification page
  • Visa Documentation—If applicable, current visa status documentation
  • Credential Evaluation—Official evaluation of foreign transcripts by a recognized credential evaluation service
  • Financial Documentation—Proof of sufficient financial resources to complete the program
  • English Proficiency Test Scores—TOEFL iBT minimum 80, IELTS minimum 6.5, or equivalent
